I have been thinking a while on what I want to try and do next, and finally decided. I'm going to do a One Piece fan art in celebration of starting that manga next weekend. The style is simple enough that I am going to try and do an original piece (freaking Clamp makes their character designs way too complicated...) I'm setting a deadline for October 14th for it to be up-I think I am going to try and use both Illustrator and Photoshop this time. Illustrator will get the basic line art, and photoshop will handle most of the coloring and background. Whom will it be of? You'll just have to wait and see

Edit: Due to my total lack of any and all art education, I have decided to start with the basics. I will be putting a One Piece art up on that date, but most likely it will be a fairly simple affair.

There are some very fundamental things I've decided to concentrate more heavily on (aka, practice with drawing hands/feet/how to shade colors/ect)instead for the next few weeks so that stuff down the road can come out much better. I view it as one of those learn to crawl before you walk sort of deals. So there will be something (hopefully) fairly cool coming out on that date, but it isn't what I had in mind originally.
